Admission Criteria

Luminary is a community and membership is intentionally curated. We review applications with care to ensure each cohort brings together a balanced mix of experiences, industries, career stages, and perspectives. This diversity is essential to creating meaningful dialogue and thoughtful peer exchange within small groups. Acceptance is not based on prestige, but on alignment, readiness and the ability to both contribute to and benefit from a confidential, trust based community.

Who Luminary Is Designed For

Luminary is built for People, Talent DEI and HR professionals who:

  • Work across HR, People & Culture, Talent, Total Rewards, Operations or related people focused roles

  • Are curious, reflective and motivated to learn from real world experience

  • Value depth, nuance and candid conversation over surface level networking

  • Are open to different perspectives and evolving their thinking

  • Want to both contribute to and learn from a trusted peer community

This is not a content platform. It is a peer space for professionals who care deeply about their craft and the impact of their work.

Our Approach to Acceptance

Because Connection Circles are small by design, not all applicants may be accepted in a given intake.

If space or group balance prevents acceptance during one intake, applications may be reconsidered in future cohorts.

We aim to be transparent, respectful, inclusive and thoughtful throughout the process.

We actively encourage participation from people of all backgrounds and lived experiences. We strive to create an environment where differences are celebrated and all voices are heard. Together, we are dedicated to building a community that reflects and respects the diversity of the world around us.

A Note on Confidentiality & Conduct

All members agree to Luminary’s confidentiality standards and community guidelines. These are in place to protect the integrity of conversations and the psychological safety of everyone in the room.
